For that purpose, the Group has published a safety program aiming prevent of safety accident in the daily operation, including:
- A program aiming at enhancing the daily awareness of dangers stressing that "everyone shall be responsible for the safety" and those on duties shall be highly alert of any danger.
- All hotels under the management of OCT International Hotel Management Co., Ltd. are equipped with closed-circuit television and video recording equipment for monitoring on a 24/7 base by a safety director specially trained in all major public areas.
- Regular safety inspection is arranged for all the hotels and business inns under the management of OCT International Hotel Management Co., Ltd.
- A firefighting/personal safety director is delegated for each hotel under the management of the Group with the task of monitoring and maintaining the firefighting/personal safety system.
- All the security staff members of each and all hotels are required to receive safety training in the full scale with the view of ensuring the reaction to any emergency.
- Every hotel has established an "Emergency Site Treatment Team" composed of personnel from various sections of the hotel. The team members are on duty on a 24-hour base in case of any emergency.
