Notes for members
Membership: |
- The membership is permanently effective from the date on which the application is accepted.
- The ID card or any other valid ID certificate is the only evidence for identifying a member.
- For a room, only one member guest executing payment is entitled to a valid record for the stay, regardless of the number of guests staying at the same room.
- The Golden Card membership is reserved for upgrading from VIP card membership through bonus point accumulation or the member can choose to be upgraded by buying bonus points.
- The Corporate Card is reserved only for government agencies and companies.
- The membership becomes effective after the first stay.

Preferential benefits and service items: |
Members have to be qualified for the following conditions before they can enjoy the reserved services for members:
- In order to enjoy the benefits and services provided by OCT International Hotel Management Co., Ltd., please provide your membership card number when booking and show your membership card or valid ID certificate when checking in.
- The public price of the hotel rooms and services shall be those listed at the receptions of the hotels.
- Members are not entitled to the preferential discount for members and other promotional prices or preferential benefits simultaneously.
- After the application for membership is recognize, a member is entitled to the in-hotel discount, preferential benefits, conversion of bonus points and awarded bonus points from the second stay.
- OCT International Hotel Management Co., Ltd. will seek to guarantee the offer of stipulated benefits and services the members are entitled to, but does not guarantee that all the hotels under its management are able to provide all such benefits and services. (Refer to our website for details.) OCT International Hotel Management Co., Ltd. shall be not be held liable for compensating staying members for any benefits or services unavailable.
- OCT International Hotel Management Co., Ltd. shall have the right to add, revise or cancel, upon prior notice, any benefits or services offered by OCT Hotel Rewards. (Refer to updates on the website)
- OCT International Hotel Management Co., Ltd. shall have the right to interpret the terms and clauses.

Member cards and bonus points: |
- Members are entitled to the accumulation of bonus points accumulated immediately upon becoming members.
- Accumulation of bonus points applies only to OCT Hotel Rewards members that use the service items at OCT hotels provided by OCT Hotel Rewards, excluding any services provided by any third party by means of contracting or items that are not listed in the service schedules provided by OCT Hotel Rewards partners.
The consumption at OCT hotels shall be proved by evidence provided by the members and recognized by the reception clerks of the hotels.
- A member failing to notify in advance the hotel for cancelling booked room, 100 bonus points will be deducted from his/her account. No bonus points will be deducted from a member's account if he/she notifies the hotel of the cancellation of booked room in advance.
- Members are entitled to price discount for more than one guest rooms each time. A member desiring to cancel room booking shall notify the hotel of his/her decision before the reservation end time, or 100 bonus points will be deducted from his/her account.
- Bonus points will only be granted to team guests or guests renting rooms for a long-term when the membership price is paid for the stays.
- Bonus point transfers are applicable only for golden card members of OCT Hotel Rewards. A golden card member of OCT Hotel Rewards may transfer any of his bonus points to the bonus point account of another member of any class. The threshold amount for transfer is 1000 and the maximum is 10000 within 12 months in a calendar year.
- In the event of losing membership card , a new one can be reissued by showing the ID card of the membership card holder.
- A member who fails to show his/her membership card or other valid identification is entitled to preferential price for members, but not entitled to bonus point accumulation.
- Bonus points are applicable for special price guest rooms and day-time stays.

Period of validity for bonus points: |
- The bonus points for members are of lifelong validity. No bonus point is deducted for the upgrading of membership.
- The bonus points are audited by the calendar year on each December 31. If the accumulated bonus points do not reach the required threshold for the membership, such membership and accompanying rights to benefits will only be retained for 6 months.

- Bonus points are applicable only for members booking through the reserved channel of OCT Hotel Rewards.
- Joint cardholders are entitled to the same rights as those of cardholders.
- The expenditure-converted bonus points can be uploaded 24 hours a day. The hotel shall check, calculate and update the number of nights members stay at the hotel. The bonus points shall be accumulated only after confirmed by the hotel. The renewed bonus point accumulation shall be entered onto the account of the member on day following the expenditure or conversion. If the inspection is delayed for the reason of any special occasions (e.g., legal holidays, important meeting, etc), the accumulation of bonus points shall be postponed accordingly. We are sorry for any inconvenience thus incurred.
- Bonus points reaching designated limit can be converted into service or reward. Bonus points can be converted into rooms and in-hotel services.
If a member desire to convert his/her bonus points into external products/services (provide by cooperation partners or through cooperation card), he/she shall apply for the conversion through the special channel of OCT Hotel Rewards. The regular period for processing the conversion shall be 2 weeks and notification shall be given in 2 weeks, excluding holidays, in which case the conversion will be postponed accordingly.
- The bonus points shall be audited and calculated yearly on December 31. For a member who fails to convert his/her bonus points before Decembern 31, only 50% of his/her bonus points will be retained after the date .
- Bonus points will be deducted accordingly after they are converted into services or rewards.
- OCT International Hotel Management Co., Ltd. shall be exempted from liability if the gift is not delivered to a member due to any error in the mailing information provided by the member.
- The conversion of bonus points into gifts, once confirmed, cannot be changed, and the gifts may not be returned. No invoice will accompany the gift. The date of sending gift shall be the date on which the gift is posted.
- No invoice shall be provided for free room, dinning and other designated products/services which are offered by convesion of the bonus points. A member desiring to cancel his/her free room shall notify the hotel of his/her decision in advance, or the bonus points converted for the stay will be deducted from his/her account in full.
- Bonus points can be converted into payment on expenditure of the same amount but not into cash.
- The regulations on bonus points may be adjusted from time to time, and the latest information published on the website shall prevail in regard to conversion of bonus points to gifts.
- OCT International Hotel Management Co., Ltd. shall have the right to interpret the regulations for conversion of bonus points.
